I know its a bit early, but I'd be interested in hearing about your plans for
end-of-year art shows. Do you display at your own schools? Do you combine
with all schools within your district for one BIG show? How many pieces does
each student get to display? Do you have your opening on its OWN night or do
you combine with Spring Choral/Band Concert night, PTO event,...etc. Do you
have student musicians provide music? Refreshments? Slide Presentations?
Student Docents? Maybe you don't have an opening night-do you have periodic
exhibits (excluding the regular bullitan board exhibits)- maybe an end -of
-year, month long exhibit featuring each child's work? ( Please identify the
grade levels you teach.) I'm looking for a new approach to my yearly Spring
Art Show (grades 1-5) and would appreciate hearing from you...Thanks , Carol
