San D-
You are so right. We need more women is MORE lines of work, such as kitchen
appliance designing, automobile designing, architecture, construction,
city planning, CEO's, politics, doctors, dentists, candlestick makers, etc.,
etc..... EXCEPT for teaching. There are far too many women in this field. In
our school, my principal practically ATTACKS the black male teacher applicants
. She pins them (males) to the floor, and won't let them go unless they
promise to work at our school ( where there are predominately females --mostly
white, some black, couple of Hispanic, one Asian-)!!!!

You also made a lot of sense about punishing them for something they did last
week. Yeah, it's old news, and it is forgotten, not by me, of course. Even
their (homeroom) teachers are not interested anymore. They have their own
problems in the classroom.
So, what do I do? I refuse to give them art supplies. I absolutely refuse.
However, I have decided to run off some dittoes (creatve, huh?!) and they can
sketch. Some art, but not l
what they are used to.
Thank you ever so much for your great thoughts. I enjoy your letters
tremendously.
I hope that your school administration appreciates you.
