Dear Maggie,

Your comments about the expectations of students certainly struck a
cord.

I know of school 10 minutes from where I live who would give anything
for used crayons, in fact, used anything. If some of you would like I
can go and take pictures, send them to you, and you can show them to
your students. I am sure it would be an eye opener for some of them.
