A hearty and belated thank you to all of you who responded to my art
history question of last week (or was it the week before?@#$%!! Time is
flying...!) I really appreciate all of the replies, both the ones sent
to me personally and the ones sent via this listserv. I am doing a
research paper on art history teaching methodologies, to see HOW art
teachers are teaching...i.e: integration, inquiry, "art-in-the-dark"
etc. I joined this listserv specifically to post that question, and now
that I am here, I'm hooked! The only downer- after a day teaching K-5,
being a single soccer mum of two little ones, working on my paper....I
barely have energy to read my mail, let alone reply! I have thought "
Oh, I'll reply to that" or "Oooooh- gotta put my two cents in..." but it
always ends up being "Ah, I'll do it tomorrow!" and of course tomorrow
never comes....

I love the name tag idea. The NC conference is in Durham Nov. 6-8, hope
to see Sax there! If anyone would like to send me your art history
teaching methods, I'd love to have it- still plugging away! Oh- does
anyone know of any other listserv's besides this and artsedge where I
can go hunting for other art teachers?!

Thanks- I'm thrilled to be part of this group- even if I am a fly on the
wall most of the time!!
