WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE ARCHIVES?
All messages posted to ArtsEdNet Talk are available in the ArtsEdNet Talk Archives. These archives are located on the ArtsEdNet Web site at http://www.artsednet.getty.edu in the ArtsEdNet Talk section. WHY AM I NOT GETTING ANY MAIL?
If your mailbox is always full (and we receive messages from your host telling us so for more than 5 days), you are automatically deleted from the list. We must do this for three reasons.
1) Many people don't know how to remove themselves from the list.
2) Many people don't know that the there is a digest version of ArtsEdNet Talk.
3) We receive hundreds of bounced messages each day for every account that is either invalid or which have full mailboxes.
WHO'S MODERATING THIS LIST?
ArtsEdNet Talk has been and will remain unmoderated but we do reserve the right to remove people from the list who are hostile, rude, or create flame wars on this list.
WHY CAN'T I SEND ATTACHMENTS?
We would also like to advise you not to include attachments to the e-mails you send to this listserve. Many users are unable to access attachments; this includes everyone that is on the digest version or those who view ArtsEdNet Talk via the Web. Attachments are also a common way to catch and spread computer viruses. So please refrain from sending messages with attachments.
WHY CAN'T I POST TO THE LIST?
If you are having trouble sending your message to the list, please e-mail us at marlin so that we can confirm your proper e-mail account. Many times e-mail accounts have variations that make it difficult to do the automated removal and these variations will also now prevent you from posting to ArtsEdNet Talk.
WHAT WEB SITE?
