great idea...in the same vein, we in washington state are working on
essentail learnings...state mandated goals that strengthen academic
standards. In response to this (goal one is writing across the curriculum) i
have my studio students react to a quote every week...the quote is usually
tied to the print of the week, by the artist of the month...my goal this
year was to work on not only literacy with my classes, but visual literacy.
