Hi, all,

All the messages about clothes and hands lately have been quite
entertaining. And to think it started with one person complaining about
her tired feet...

Anyway, my contribution will be a couple of product endorsements for
stained clothes and cracked hands. If you haven't tried Kiss Off for
stains, you should. You can get it through several of the standard art
supply catalogs. It comes in a tube and, if used when the stain is still
fresh, works miraculously well; it even diminishes stains that have dried
before you noticed them. Even India ink spatters are hardly noticeable
if you treat them while fresh.

For really cracked hands, I like an English product called Lotil. It's
available mail-order through the Vermont Country Store. Pricy, but very

Maggie, whose hands are actually presentable, most days ;)
