I love the talk about music in the classroom. We play music from time to
time. We all have collections of music the kids love to hate so just the
threat of playing it keeps them on the straight and narrow. But still I
have classical days and play different CD's. James Galway (flutist) very
calming. Even some of the kids liked the greatest hits of Debussey!

A funny thing happened one day. My student teacher was playing my Drifters
CD and one of the girls was overheard hoping that it was the teacher's CD
and not "any kid in the this class.

No fights when we crank out the Sounds of the Rainforest either.

Duffy-Good to hear from you again. I've been reading messages but not
responding too much but had to about the music. Fran
