Furs, Dressing for Art etc.

Another perspective: I wear furs because they are warm & tactile, BUT I
only wear furs from auctions, those made long ago & that can't be brought
back to life. I worked on an Indian reservation for several years. I like
the idea of honoring the animal's gift. I do not support the present day
harvesting of furs.

Re: dressing for art ~ wear what you're comfortable with, but I do think
that being a roll model for kids is important. I usually wear long, crinkle
cotton skirts & colorful, flowing things. People refer to me as "the art
lady" because, I guess, I project that when I come into a room. I like to
think of my attire as an art statement. When necessary, I wear smocks.
