Dear Chris,
I was very excited to hear others are involved in the 'Multicultural' arts program! I started an Elementary/ Middle school 12 years ago. We use the Creative Arts to stimulate the academics in a school day. We have hired what we call consultants to create a Multi-demisional Thinking Process. The entire curriculum is set up to use the right side of the brain to develop the left side of the brain while being in a frontal lobe ( Beta) state of mind. This is the global thinking process. It is tremendous! Not only are children learning faster they are retaining the information for longer periods of time! The arts are definately a powerful tool and many people are missing the boat by eliminating them from their school program. I am in the process of writing the curriculum down for publication. I would love to have a group of Artist and Educators preview the material. Please contact me if you are interested in being in this research project.

Thanks!
