Just wanted to make a small addition to the entry I made the other day about
the Haiku web site. I realized after I sent the e-mail that I had neglected
to provide any examples. I will now correct that, and hope that they will
inspire you to check out the site at

After the storm
A boy wiping the sky
>From the tables
-Darko Plazanin, Sambo, Yugoslavia

The rainy season
Sparrows taking shelter
Raindrops, too
-Kenjiro Higashi

The loon
Left me chuckling
in the mist
-David McMurray

"One cannot make good haiku simply by going about one's life in a day-to-day
fashion. It is necessary to hone one's senses to the world around one and
take an interest in all things great and small."
all quoted from the above mentioned site.
