Greetings to the list!
I have a request. I teach elementary art during the school year; but
during the summer, I work at the University art gallery as an intern for
university credit. The gallery was given a gift of some scrolls,
watercolors and some porcelein pieces about 12 years ago. Unfortunately,
these were never recorded properly. I can probably find some good
background information on similar pieces from the university library, but I
wonder if anyone out there has some good connections or leads with people
who have an interest in Chinese works of art? Besides researching these
particular pieces for the gallery's use, I'm also putting together a
curriculum guide for elementray art (and classroom) teachers to use along
with the works. [The University gallery director is open to letting schools
borrow some of the pieces!]
So, if this is something you know about, or you know someone I can contact,
please let me know at:
Thanks! Peggi B.
