Thanks for your story on a possible project for students to make a
positive contribution to their environment. If you guys haven't read it,
you should, it's pretty cool.(tuesday oct.21 vol.02: #419 )
My big question is "did this stick" I mean did this kind of project
continue for other classes or grades? Are the teachers happy with that one
time quick-fix or are they continuing to explore this kind of education?
Also, what was the outcome.... were your wetlands saved?
I love to hear about projects like Sharons'. Has anyone had an experience
like this? I'm trying to feel out some good lessons dealing with
social/environmental restoration. Some examples where people have put their
efforts of teaching into action. Let me know if you have any tips.
