Do you believe that the Hopi, Navajo, and other Indian tribes' use and
meaning of sacred art, like Katchina dolls, pottery, sandpainting etc.
contribute to bringing them together as a group of people? In what other
cultures does art or the environment define them as a unique group of
people? Lastly, should these multicultural approaches to art change or
even influence the way it is taught in our schools? I would love to hear
your opinions and thoughts.
