Free Classes For Youth Ages 12-21 In The Greater Los Angeles Area

Students interested in art, puppetry, and theater are currently being
enrolled for a special opportunity to learn basic skills in designing,
carving, painting, and manipulating shadow puppets.

The workshop includes 15 classes and a performance to introduce the Shadow
Theater of Bali. The project will culminate in a public exhibition and
student performance.

Classes will be held weekly from January to May 1998 at the Bob Baker
Marionette Theater in Los Angeles.

the Cultural Affairs Department, City of Los Angeles and the generosity of
