Making fossils in clay is delightful . I ask the childrens teacher to take a
walk with them and collect leaves, grasses, dead insect bodies...litter....we
arrange a composition on clay , roller pinning, putting2 holes in the top and
trimming the edges---I also let my custodians know when this will be fired
because it will smoke-----I am very careful about stressing safety with this
because we do not have a vent . I use the kilnsetter and the custodians good
