Welcome to everyone new and old. I guess what my first thought was when
I read all the new introductions was (and bear with me here, I am old,
and a long time high school teacher) is that all you can sum your self
up to? What I mean to say, (if you can get beyond my last
statement---sorry if it was too blunt), is I would hope that after four
years of art in my art program in a relatively provincial town in New
Jersey, that if one of my future artists/teachers had the opportunity to
jump into the fray of over 600+ art educators from beginners to enders,
they would be able to articulate themselves in a way that not only
represented their artist's sensibilities, and their education, but their
college institution as well. If I didn't read the college edu. address,
I would have no sense from the introductions, that these were college
students, artists, or future educators. (ouch!)
