Barb James asked:

Our 4th grade teacher came to me yesterday and asked if I could do
some art with her class relating to fossils. She had no ideas, and
either do I. Can anyone help??

Since this email popped up while my 4th graders were working, I asked
them for ideas.
1) Make Paper mache Dinosaur Bones (life size of course)!
2) Make a sidewalk with shells and stuff in it... or draw fossils on
the sidewalk with chalk.

I teach a unit on Georgia O'Keefe, and we make gigantic things from
small things using oil pastels... Make them the wrong color, etc. One
of the examples I did is of a gigantic ammonite all done in white,
pink, and blue....

Have fun!
