What is going on? We've just been introduced to some future teachers
that will be willing to talk about art, ecology, and how it works into
their particular interests and skills. I, for one, am excited to meet
you!
It has been at such introductory meetings that the staff at my school
has
been able to pool our (sometimes hidden) knowledge to produce wonderful
interdiciplinary activities that are related to where we live and who
lives
around us. The diversity of our life experiences and interests
challenges
us to interweave what we need to do with where we would like to go.
Poet Brian Andreas (Still Mostly True, 1994) wrote:
