Edward Abbott's "Flatland" has recently been reprinted by Dover and
is available for just $1 from your local bookstore (or from us for $5
incl. postage).

Martin Gardner develops the idea in his recently-published "Planiverse" (Springer: Last
Recreations: Copernicus; 16 pounds or 29 dollars inc. postage).

We shall be picking up some of these ideas in "FunMaths 1998" which
relates mathematical visualisation and dimensionality to the work of
Lewis Carroll and MC Escher (available soon: $10 inc postage)

(Incidentally, Abbott's school in London has just unearthed
a history including lot about Abbott - a insightful and foresightful
guy!)
