For the last three summers I have been fortunate to be able to
lead "Tres Culturas & the Visual Language of Art," a seminar in
Santa Fe, New Mexico, primarily for art teachers (though anyone
else who wants to attend is also included). I have just finalized
the dates for July 7-13, 1997, and thought I would make the
information available to anyone interested. "Tres Culturas" is
sponsored by Plaza Resolana en Santa Fe, an adult study center
of the Presbyterian Church, affiliated with the similar
conference center, Ghost Ranch, north of Abiquiu, New Mexico.
I try to plan different activities each year, but last year,
just to give you an idea of the kinds of things we do, we toured
Georgia O'Keeffe's house in Abiquiu and Jesus Moroles' Cerillos
Cultural Center south of Santa Fe (among lots of other things).
If anyone would like further information, let me know and I will
email you a press release.
Thinking of New Mexico (I was just told it's snowing there today),
