Hi,w.f.

I used the Spectra program for a number of years while I was teaching k-8 art.
I used grade one through grade eight binders. They were terrific. The binders
contained background information,slides,materials,thought provoking
questions,some connections with other subjects and extensions to the lessons.

I whole heartedly agree with Jill Pease about using the Spectra program as a
wonderful jumping off point. I don't think any curriculum is the end all be
all. This one provides a good base and general outline that can be used by
almost any teacher.

I found it a great guide in designing my own lessons.
