Try film cannisters from Fuji Film, they are semi clear, as opposed
to the ones from Kodak which re black. Often developing places will just
give them to you. Perhaps you can get a parent to prepare blocks of wood
with drilled holes that fit the containers. Easy to remove and clean, and
add paint. The only problem is they are a little small. Plastic divided
dinner plates make good palettes. Saran wrap can cover them to keep
overnight. All this depends on how young and coordinated the kids are, if
they can handle it or not. Always have extra lids, they tend to dissappear
like socks on the wash.
No time to check spelling. 'cuse the type-oh's! Ditte
