Leni,

Oh, that brought back memories, when you recalled that technique!! My
girlfriend and I used to sit for hours, carefully coloring in just that
manner. So, thinking back on that experience, and seeing where I am now,
why do I get so ballistic when students say they like using coloring books?

Deborak,
I think using coloring books is like the times when you don't want to think
too hard, just wanting to color and not come up with anything on your own....
Kinda like watching evening sitcoms as opposed to a real intense,
artistically done movie. You don't want to think, just want to be
entertained.
