I too, loved the paint by the numbers...I wonder though whether that was
because they were the most available "art for kids/beginners" available at
the time?
Along with coloring books...
A personal note.... I was so proud of myself when I found the technique of
outlining in a dark shade and then coloring in the shape a little
lighter....It looked so COOL!
