Sorry for all the confusion folks. Lauren is worried about Mandalas being
used as references for projects dealing with radial art. She's doing
kaliedoscopes, and I suggested mandalas as good examples of radial art and
radial balance. Also i have had relly good interest from kids doing
Mandalas. I know the religious thing can be problematic. once I mentioned
yoga stretches in a school with heavy Baptist enrollment. i heard about it!
But can you go the multicultural route with the mandala? It appears in so
many cultures and if you remember reading Victor Lowenfield, he said that
some young children do them naturally. Peggy
