Here's a great resource for teachers that I heard about and want to share
with you on the net. Please contact Kris Wetterlund if you have any
more questions.

Check out the latest curriculum offering on the web at the Minnesota Museum
of American Art's homepage. Called "Brainstorms", the curriculum offers a
virtual exhibit of the MMAA's show "Outsider Art in the Midwest", and
includes interactive components to help high school students explore issues
of history, aesthetics, criticism, culture and creativity through Outsider
Art.

Log onto MMAA's home page at http://www.mtn.org/MMAA/ and click on the
word "BRAINSTORMS" on the page. Don't forget to read the To The Teacher
section, then you and your students are ready to brainstorm!

For more information please write directly to Kris Wetterlund, Director of
Education, MMAA at: krisw
