steel wool
those plastic scrubby things you use in the kitchen
old hair rollers
old tooth brush
plastic forks, serrated knives
sticks, rocks, leaves, burrs, (anything outside)
leather (old shoes, old bags)
bottoms of shoes (the soles)
crumbled tin foil
old jewelry
old toys

> I am wondering everyday objects you use to add texture to clay. I have some great clay specific tools, but am sure there are some less expensive or free items I could be using as well. Any suggestions?
