I really enjoy reading about your studios. I especially like the comment about NOT having work/school lesson related stuff in your personal studio. My favorite thing about my studio is I have big windows with views of a protected urban park nearby, but the REAL FAVORITE part is that it is a crazy mess and I can just be myself. My OCD husband is not allowed in. The rest of the house I make sure is somewhat sane, but I let it all go in the studio. I feel I can just be my crative, messy self. I sometimes let the dogs come in and hang out with me too!
