[teacherartexchange] Who Invented Art?

Here's a book we all could enjoy together and exchange ideas.

Larry Shiner's book: The Invention of Art. University of Chicago
Press, 2002. I bought it when it was new, so expensive. You can get
it on Amazon.

It is well-written. Pretty much a page turner as these scholarly
books go.

We all read Art and Fear some years ago and had good conversations
about that. Why not try this as our winter vacation reading and
talk to each other?
