I guess I was left a bit breathless by the paragraph quoted
above...students in choice based art classes display tremendous
ownership of their work for the simple reason that they have chosen
work that expressions their passions, interests and friendships. A
quick look at one of the choice web logs will show you what students
look like when they are invited to take ownership of their art learning.
