I hear you..it's a bit frustrating...i've been teaching the same kids
(some of them are 8th grade now and i've had them since 4th) about
Keith Haring, Paul Klee, Kandinsky, Matisse, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and
all the other artists and all they remember are
PABLO PICASSO and LEONARDO DA VINCI! =)

i was actulally relieved when i backtracked a bit, growing up i only
had Van Gogh and Rodin in mind...the others, i didn't really care
about...i think the kids remember the artist they can most relate
with...i reminded myself to be not too hard on myself. The kids will
definitely come by...in their own perceptive mind's time. =)

so, just keep on teaching. be creative. and have fun!
