In the town where I taught, they don't even give art teachers credit for
courses in motor control, or discipline! Say they have nothing to do with
art.
Judith sent a list of National grants, and there's the NAEA site in Reston
that has grant listings.

Subject: [teacherartexchange] Advocacy for professional development
I am writing a grant for professional development (art workshop). It seems
that our local educational grant fund prefers to give grants for workshops
in science, math, reading, etc. They don't believe that renewal of
artist/teachers creative selves is important. Anyone know of resources that
would help me?
