I love Fred Babb! Last year I found one of his books at 1/2 Price
Bookstore. I had the kids design posters for all academic and fine arts
subjects using the ideas from his posters as a jumping off place. They
turned out pretty cute. We did them at the beginning of the year. Sort
of a "cheerleader" for other subjects and art, and they were quirky and
funny. Someone even did a cafeteria poster. I had the kids work in
table groups to do it.
