My partner art teacher and I also use the drywall method of drying clay
tiles. Learned this trick from an artist-in-residence who worked with our students
to create a tile mural for the school library. Simply place one layer of clay
tiles between 2 sheets of drywall. You can stack multiple layers of these on
top of one another to dry. Works very well.Tiles stay flat and don't crack. We
reuse the drywall when dry.
