I did yearbook for years with Jostens and Pagemaker (Yeartech surely helps!). BUT my suggestion is this: call Jostens and tell them you have been esssentially abandoned by the representative. They will do everything they can to fix that I am sure. (perhaps even giving you another rep). Also, when I did it the rep had computer classes that my students went to, to learn Yeartech. (1 day out of school). I found Jostens to be very accomodating as well, and every year we sent the person who we spoke to at the plant something for being so kind to us. In defense of your rep: perhaps they are overburdened with too many schools under their belt, or perhaps their is a personality conflict....so CALL Jostens and get it resolved. There is no way any of us who have been there can give you any practical help in using Pagemaker on this forum. Also, I put in HOURS learning Pagemaker on my own so that I could keep up with the students (who sometimes these things come naturally to).
Believe me when I tell you that I am TOTALLY empathetic to your situation. NO ONE understands another yearbook advisors angst more than another yearbook advisor.
