Re: Liquid Tempera vs. Tempera Cakes?

Tempera cakes are handy and quick, but they are more like watercolors, (though opaque). If I had to choose between one or the other, I would vote for the liquid tempera every time. The colors are much brighter (I find the tempera cake colors to be rather dull), and much for versatile for mixing.

Hello! Advice needed on liquid tempera vs. tempera cakes! Which is preferable? (I am still without a sink and shelving in my new art classroom, but extremely happy to have great light and no more art-on-the-cart -- the carts are parked in my classroom as temporary shelving!)Thank you, Sandy J
