tinting glue with tempera

Hello fellow list-ers!

I know there was a "thread" a couple of weeks ago about creative ways to use glue...and I've just caught a recent issue of Schoo Arts where they use tinted glue as a textured outliner.

My question is (since they didn't give the recipe in the magazine)...what is the ratio of tempera paint to glue? I'm in the midst of experimenting, but it sure would save some time if someone would share the recipe.
