These kids are why I took this job. And the reason I want to make it work. But they are also the reason that I come home utterly exhausted and uncertain if I have what it takes. I'm normally a fast learner. I'm just not sure how fast I can ascend this learning curve. It's pretty steep. I'm bookmarking your discipline link. Thank you.

I think most teachers must have a bit of Jesus walking along beside them today or we would not make it. I am just an ordinary person and I know I cannot do it on my own. There are too many evil issues draining our kids today. The other day I was told by the behavior room teacher that one of his students coming in 15 min. to my room was having a bad day. I sat a prayed in his desk and just said to God, I can't help this little boy, but you can. My little guy was as calm as a quiet day on the lake. Of course this is not always the way it works. But I remember that God loves them and so must we to be affective.

        Blessings on your day today
