Thanks for your lovely reply Judy, but OH DEAR - I haven't touched that
website in about 2 years!! It was just an "experiment" in building a
very basic site - now I can't remember how I did it!!!
We do have discipline problems in some of our high schools, but they
would be fairly insignificant compared to what some of you write about
in your postings.
I teach middle level and the standard of discipline at my school is very
high, so I have almost no problems at all, even though it is very
multicultural (about 48 different nationalities represented) and an
inner city school.
Warm regards to all, Jill in NZ

Subject: Hello Jill from New Zealand! - some Great Middle School Art

Greetings Jill in New Zealand!

Our friends in Australia seem to be doing quite well
too - well funded. I imagine that there aren't nearly
the discipline problems we hear about around here.
When art is truly valued, the kids value it more, too.
It just makes sense.

Many of us have enjoyed Jill's student art - now that
there are many new people, I thought I would post her
site again:

You will find some innovative project ideas. I really
like the "personal quilt" - a different kind of self portrait....and so
many other ones, too. Try the clay birds project....sure to please.

Jill's site is linked from:

It is always good to hear from you, Jill.
