I've just returned from the Mayo Clinic.
Their new structure donated by a wealthy family has 7 big Chihuly's
hanging on 1 side of the multi level
entry. They are phenomenal. the whole place is filled with art works.
Some of the new sculptures are wonderful as are some of the 2D pieces.
As in any institution of any magnitude, some of the art work in the
examining and test rooms is pretty awful. It gives one something to
think about while immobilized though.
