Foamcore for display (Susan?)

Some time back, I think Susan on Long Island suggested using 4'x8' sheets of
black foamcore board, hinged, for display of artwork. One more time: what
do you use for hinging and what thickness foamcore works the best?

Also seeking other good ideas for display.
