I had a kid standing behind me at the sink area who was holding a full
jar of MAGENTA tempera paint. She dropped it and it paint bounced all
the way to the ceiling, down the walls, and on top of my head and
sweater. Kids were speechless. I was magenta slimed for real. As I
wiped off my face with a sponge, I quietly said..."okay......I think you
all need to clean up early and one of you needs to go get the janitor
and tell your teacher to come over here." Art ended early that day.
THe weirdest thing of all is that I had on a brand new, first day to wear
it, Liz Claiborne MAGENTA sweater! Nothing stains worse than magenta
paint. WOuld you believe that after I washed that sweater (I did go
home and shower and change) it didn't even look stained! That was a day
I'll never forget.
