ok, i know this may sound wacky, but i concur 100%. i think it might be hard to "take" if you don't like the hot stuff, but i swear from LOTS of experience there's something to it. i've also done a little research on the powers of wasabi, chili peppers, and the like - there's a good amount of real science to back it up! i got a stomach ulcer in high school whose symptoms occasionally recur with stress...hot stuff makes it better than pepcid, tums, mylanta, rxs... it seems to cure other ailments, too! i think i've said this on the list in the past, but i am also a huge believer in exercise - not neccessarily strenous but enough to raise your body temp. significantly for 30 minutes or more, several times a week. i have had chronic asthma since i was born but run long distances and am almost never sick... maybe worth a try?
