Have inherited several brands of tempera paint and am now preparing to
pack for the move to my new classroom in Nov. I was wondering if you
had any feedback on these brands as far as consistency and mixability (I
currently have no sink so have not used any of them yet). I'll pack up
the recommended brands and "graciously" lend the rest to other teachers ;)

Maggie, I don't have experience with many you mention, but I know that one
year I bought Prang Tempera and hated them for their poor coverage. Funny, I
love the Prang 16 set watercolors, but the tempera-ugh! This year I took a
detour from my usual Crayola Premier Tempera with its great coverage, colors, but
often too thick consistency, bought Sax Ultra (Bunky's suggestion), and LOVE
them! The coverage is wonderful, but best of all, the consistancy is perfect!
