I would like to develop a lesson for my 7th graders...does anybody have any
suggestions?
You could do something with the Van Gogh, Starry Night idea and have them use
the pencils dry with lots of swirling strokes. Look at his work with many
skies and scenes and have them make their own. Lay it on thick!
With a brush and some water moisten the brush and go over the strokes with
the water and see the strokes blend and mix. Not to many strokes as this will
erase the colored stokes and leave it too light. Repeat the process if you
want but gear it to your own students.
