I have a second grade that does this. I think I'll try it, but last week I
had them put their heads down and two children continued to talk, no matter
what. I haven't the room to separate them. This class hasn't had a chance: a sub
since September that has them stay in for recess, quiet, for punishment. Of
course art is at the end of a day and recess is just before art. I see the
children as bright, eager learners, but the behaviour is out of control. I feel as
if I've never been in the classroom.
Off to OT for my hand, which doesn't seem to be healing the way it's supposed
