William Cochran, artist and arts advocate, will be speaking at the Texas Art
Education Association conference in November. His works of public art are
incredible. Not only are the paintings masterworks, they are truly public
because the public collaborates on the content of the work. His underlying
concept is to empower communities through art so that they become personally
engaged in urban, social, cultural and economic regeneration.

William's newest public art project is in Albany, NY. The website includes
a link to for you and your students to submit your ideas online.
