At the beginning of the year, we talk about two phases:

"Is that good enough?" which is not allowed because I will always say
"No."

or

"What else does it need?" They are supposed to ask themselves that
question first, then ask me. I usually say, "What do you think?" and
they come up with the right answer 95% of the time. Then, when they
finish, I can praise their effort.
