All you have to do to make a kaleidoscope is put 3 mirror strips together to form
a triangle and look through it. I bought something called mirror board this year
and I intend to make them since I'm really bad at cutting glass. To fit into a
film case just do a bit of geometry--trace the end and see how big of an
equilateral triangle you can fit in it.
